Other major players in the carbon markets share Carbonflow’s vision and are partnering with us to revolutionize efficiency and scale in the carbon market. Carbonflow enjoys exclusive relationships with Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and Société Générale de Surveillance SA (SGS).
Established in 1864 in Norway, DNV is an independent foundation with the objective of safeguarding life, property, and the environment. It is also a leading international provider of services for managing risk. With over 6,100 employees, DNV was the first company to be accredited by the United Nations (UN) to verify greenhouse gas emission reductions from projects in the developing world under the Clean Development Mechanism 2004.
Now with more than 150 trained climate auditors, DNV is the largest verifier of carbon credit projects in the world. DNV has agreed to an exclusive relationship with Carbonflow for the development and marketing of the Carbonflow™ Solution.
SGS is the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company. Recognized as the global benchmark for quality and integrity, we employ over 50 000 people and operate a network of more than 1 000 offices and laboratories around the world.
The SGS Climate Change Program was established in 1997 and offers a range of services for mandatory and voluntary reporting of greenhouse gas emissions. SGS is accredited and active in all GHG programs worldwide. Our expertise is based on the validation and verification of hundreds of greenhouse gas projects and inventories.
Security
Carbonflow follows industry best practices in web-based security. We run our systems on Amazon Web Services (AWS), one of largest and most robust groups of data centers in the world. Your data is immediately backed up securely, with multiple location redundancy. AWS guarantees 99.99% availability and is SAS 70 level 2 certified. It is regarded as such a high level of security that the US government is using it for computing and data storage. This solution is more cost effective, more efficient and very likely considerably safer than any solution you could develop on your own servers.
Project and Document Security
Connect+ allows you to securely manage the data, documents, emails, and work flow in one place. Every company, every document and every project has its own access control list. As the Project Administrator, you can always see and manage every user who has access to your projects. As a Document Owner, you control who can view the documents you’ve created and who can edit them.
Your Data
Any carbon project and portfolio generates a massive stream of data, generally unsecured via email or unsecure websites. In current practice, none of this data is secure and very little of it is accessible. Connect+ manages this data problem efficiently and securely, by allowing you to see, manage, and control all the data you have access to, through the Project Map and Dashboard. It is your data: if you put it in, you own it.
