CarbonCompare® is an online database tool that enables users to research and benchmark their projects against existing projects. The CarbonCompare platform analyzes data from publicly available UNFCCC project information. This includes published data sets from UNEP Risoe CDM / JI Pipeline Analysis and Database, IGES CDM Project Database, and includes analysis by Carbonflow.

Compare nearly 6,000 CDM projects using up to 50 different identifiers and variables and 20 different calculated analyses. Relevant measures include: annual CERs, emissions factors, additionality arguments, utilization rates, fixed capital cost, O & M cost ratio, IRR/Benchmark ratio, issuance performance ratios and more. In addition, click on links to instantly view the PDD data sources and financial analysis spreadsheets from the UNFCCC website.
