Connect+ saves time and money by putting all decision makers on the same secure, browser-based platform. Connect+ increases efficiency, transparency and timeliness of project implementation and management, from project design, validation and registration to monitoring, verification and issuance. The software automates the complex process of managing emission reduction projects. A typical project involves many interrelated steps. Project participants are often geographically dispersed and come and go across the life of the project. Connect+ assists in communication across multiple parties and time zones. Status updates between various project participants are automatically sent in real time. A record of all communication is also saved throughout the life of the project. All decision makers involved in the project are able to communicate in a simple and secure manner. Adding organizations and project participants to the platform is easily done.
Once a project step is completed, participants are automatically notified. Authorized users are notified about the following in real time: completed steps and sub-steps, open and active steps, requests for revision, who is working on/reviewing a document, and the latest version of a document. Connect+ reduces time spent within each project step and accelerates the overall process. All parties involved are given an appropriate level of transparency based on their role within the project. Communication and deadlines are clear. Every project participant is working toward a common deadline in a much more efficient manner, with less error involved.
Connect+ connects project developers, buyers, investors, portfolio managers, consultants/advisers, auditors (e.g. DOEs), government agencies (e.g. DNAs) and program regulators. In doing so, many communication and project or GHG program related issues are reduced or eliminated, which in turn saves time and money, moving projects forward.
